about how long wuld coins be in circulation back then like us today we use coins today like nickels from the 50s.  for example in the 1850 would people be carring coins in the early 1800s or would they be using the newest coins out.

I once took my two boys up to a local park and asked them where in the park we would find most coins. There was an old beech tree growing on a mound in one corner of the park, behind which two people could find privacy in the park ... in the dark. We found over 300 coins behind the mound !.

any "private"lovers spot -- any inviting "picnic" looking spot =--- most people are alike in that a good looking spot to one is often a good looking spot to another -- say -- humm if I was going to ------ where would be a sweet spot to do it at? -- then follow your "hunch" ---works for me --- remember to a good camping spot along side a river today is likely to have been used for a long time --- a good spot today , most likely was a good spot way back then too.  Wink

Old Phone Booth locations.

Bus Stops.

Old Side walks being torn up and replaced are cool for old coins.  People did the walk before they were there.

Most any old lakes had a favorite swimming hole.

This list goes on! :Smiley
