The Discovery series of detectors are pretty solid detectors by Bounty Hunter.  I see you have the 1100 which is the entry level detector in the Discovery Series.  Since the 1100 only has a 3 segment target ID I would dig almost everything.....never know what you are missing.  Good Luck and Happy Hunting!
