Hi outback nice to meet you.  Let me tell you about me.  My dad was the first person to tell me about dowsing.  No, he never dowsed but believed it worked.  I decided to look into it myself.  I went to a few sites and have been doing some reading.  You know what I always see?  Someone challenging a dowser to a test.  You know what happends then?  The excuses start to fly, if not excuses its reasons on why these tests are rigged.  I went to the different sites and read the tests.  These tests are not rigged.  So to someone researching dowsing what would that make you think?  My intentions was only to find the truth,  and I guess I did.  I have  asked a few of these people on this site some questions and have always been civil with them and they with me.  So instead of sitting in front of this computer, why not take a challenge and shut these guys up.  Or answer my question of why large caches still are lost or buried?

Hello & welcome Lucky,

Hmm, maybe there's no large caches still lost or buried any more. Sue, smiling

Here is a random thought Lucky! Before you come to a new forum and post negative point of views it might be a good idea to at least introduce your self and maybe make a few friends first,,just a thought

I thought it was a legitimate question.

Hey Lucky....Dowsing just as using any other treasure hunting tool has its limits. You can research a spot for years. When you go to the spot some treasure may or may not be there. A lot of dowsers only use thier rods to look for certain objects. Randi's challenge has been around for 42 years. I wonder why NO-ONE has qualifiied to take the test for the big bucks but I see people failing in on national TV...Art

Hi art, nice to hear from you again.  Like I told the other guy, I have asked a few of you guys about dowsing on a different forum.  I have never attacked you or any of the other dowsers.  I did help stop that one obnoxious guy on the other site, that was attacking you.  Believe me I really want dowsing to work.  I have been looking for a treasure for a couple of years.  I know it exists just cant find it.  I hope that one day you can agree upon a test and show us doubters that we are all wrong.

I have found silver and gold with my units. I could show pictures but it would not convince anyone. The next post would say "well anyone can post pictures of coins". Dowsing does work and for those that us it and locating have no interest in trying to show proof, no need. This song and dance keeps showing up and is taylor to start a debate on dowsing. The best thing you can do lucky is find some near you that dowses and learn from him.

Lucky 1777, it might make you feel better if you knew that dowsing only works maybe overall a very small percentage of a percent timewise.

Dowsing only works during solar flares and we have only had our last solar flare months ago, and it was not powerful enough "down under" to dowse by, and according to a pupil of mine in Colorado, no luck there either. Solar flares run in 11 year cycles and we are just finishing in this December 2006 the last month of the last cycle. The last 2 years were terrible for dowsing and down in Australia I haven't dowsed for two years.

Sue, i am personally going to have you dowsing next year and get you off this lrl thingo which is only a uninformed persons attempt.

I am going to be like a weather man next year by letting you know when to dowse and for those who don't know, how to dowse.

You too Christian, did you know that a cavity is one of the strongest dowsing signals you can encounter, and aren't you chasing caves with Nazi spoils in the Bavarian Alps?

When dowsing time is here again I can teach you Christian how to find cavities (caves) from say google earth and quickly switch over mentally to check out for contents.

I have spent 22 long years learning my trade and I won't disappoint you.

Nassau just sent up a satelite to study the next Solar flare cycle cause it has them worried. When I am dowsing away happily sometime next year as the various rays from the sun are hurtling to earth at nearly light speed, the constant bombardment of the earths surrounding atmosphere warms the earths atmosphere up sufficiently that it expands outwards further into space causing lower satelites to be running into partial  atmosphere that can slow them down and even in some instances to destroy or upset their electronics and in instances plunge then down earthwards.

While we can be dowsing away happily during an exceptionally strong solar flair, the various rays can be happily rotting away the insides of the oil pipes coming down from alaska.

Lucky 1777 < dowsing is not watching a dowsing rod turning, it is having you mentally browsing underground for a specific target, in fact if you watch your dowsing instrument you have failed miserably as a dowser.

Keep safe max

It would be very interesting if art3811 or another guy that have used the photograph for treasure reference, to give us an idea how we can do it.
Can we use any digital camera?
What software should we use in order to "examine" the photo?
What we should expect from the photo analysis? etc
Thanks
