Enjoyed looking at the toys - nice. I just find pieces of those really old ones.

Strangely, I really like "hotwheels".
They were a bit of a revelation when they came out over here.
Best we had were "dinky" or "matchbox" toys....... ford cortinas, rovers and the like ..... all pretty boring.
The custom colours and chromey engines and bits on the hotwheels were great.

Type and style including the steel wheel would indicate Pre-WWII.
That John Deere now that is a sweety.......
I have die cast trains, boats, cycles, tanks, wagons, farm implements,
trucks,airplanes and even more cars.
I'll post them eventually.
It would be intresting if this particular subject became a singular subforum.
I'm glad I brought it up.
I know there are a lot of hotwheels, matchbox, micro machines and tootsies out there.
Some have value and some just intresting.
There are some stories out there I'm sure and this would be a great place to let them be seen.
Yall have a good day

Thanks for the info. Yes a sub forum on that topic would be a good idea. You should start a poll to see how many more support the idea.

Yep garage sales are the place to get them at a good price.
It would be good to have forum for 'Die Cast', never been keen on the hot wheel things.

Tractor looking thingie! It looks as if it were part of a set of toys.
You know the paving equipment stuff.
That piece you have there appears to be a piece of equipment
used to smooth down asphalt.
I operated equipment back in the 1970's and it looks a lot like one we used for that purpose.
