Mornin all!  John I think the star was at one time affixed to something in the park or to a sign on the bank next door, so it's evidence of vandals I think.  It's very heavy and has a welded nail on the back side.  I also found an aluminum spill where someone must have tripped and spilled all their aluminum cans.  I forgot and left them sitting on a park table so I gotta go back and get them before someone steals them!

By the way, the park was saturated from a heavy rain and it may be my imagination but every target seemed bigger than it actually was before I dug them.

Oh yeah, the ring I found doesn't have anything stamped on it so I'm thinking its not worth anything.

Pat, Don't mind me for saying but your detecting skills have come on leaps and bounds,
You now know more about the targets before you have dug them, I am truely impressed
by the way you studied your machine and what it is telling you, you don't know how many
people just swing away and never learn what you have. truely skillful.

LOL!  One day I came close to killing my self with Roach Grenades.

I popped one off in the bath room closed the door and left the house after turning off pilot lights.

Came home in a few hours and peeked in the bath room door.

No Sign of Gas or Vapors.

Walked in and Found my throat and Lungs Locked up.

Managed to get out side and on my hands and knees I stayed there trying to suck some air , white chit running out of my nose and mouth.

I came about "" far from passing out.

I Really thought I was Dieing.

Chem Warfare has it's place.

Park the Dogs out side , Turn off the Pilot lights, Kill any and all Ignition sources and Gas the little Vermin.

Side Note:  I worked with a guy and his mother set off about six of them in her house.

Left the Stove and Heater Pilot lights on.

When she returned home, Her Roof was dislodged from the Exterior Wall and lifted 2ft up.

All windows was history.

Hey now I missed church, Cause my "adopted" Son showed up to finnish digging out the right side wall of the garage and we filled in that side with gravel also. so been busy this morning. poor old gator getting a work out hauling dirt and rock.
