Went to Cabelas today. You should see the racks and racks of detectors they are now offering. Gold bug, many models of minelab etc.. Only offered a few last time i was there. Good prices as well for those of you in the hunt for a newer model...

i havent been to a cabelas  i get their catalogs  is it like bass p.  ? i dont have one very close were i am but im gonna check one out one day anyone else have the urge to look for detecting stuff in everystore practically  i do lol! i am either lookin for detectors or diggin tools  or other stuff for treasure huntin  man i got it bad  lol!

Cabelas is cool to see just like Bass Pro, but you can see what they have and not fight the crowd by simply ordering-shopping on line. Trust me when I say you'll save money ordering on line cause if you go to the store you'll see so much you'll have a basket full of stuff you did'nt expect to buy. Like when you go to the grocery store, you should'nt go there hungry! Cabelas has it made however. They are out-doing Bass Pro and here is part of why....There fish tank areas are titled as a zoo, and the stuffed animals are what they call a museum that the "CITY" pays Cabelas to take care of. So, Cabelas do's not have to pay for the up-keep of those things in there stores. And thats ALOT of doe! And having gone to Bass Pro and Cabelas in the same week I can tell you that I saw Cabelas prices cheaper than Bass Pros on metal detecters alone.  Just a tid-bit I did'nt know about Cabelas is why I share this with you all.

I don't think there is a Cabelas, here in the south east, guess it will have to wait till I come vist you Cache or we meet up @ Branson !!   Wink   

I really want to check one out for myself and see the difference between the stores.

there is a Gander Mt. In Kentucky , right off of I65, Can't remember if they sold MD's or not.
I know the Bass Pro shops do.
