Wrong but you can continue to guess.....That winch idea ain't bad.... You really don't notice um when there "in" the bull bumper. Pricy,$$$$ yes, but remember the hill's of the camp sites at The Diamond Minds? How some had to park "down" in there site? Well just imagine rain turning to ice over night while sleeping?   Heck, you got the $$, go for it!!!    If your going to get the bumper, get the winch in it. Never know?Huh? Heck, I think I'll ask for that for X-mas!!!

There's a company that sells winches that are very cheap, Yes they are Made over seas but the quality is first class, I bought the model AS USED by the British SAS, its A 9500LBS short Drum Model about the same size as the Warn model, But it coast about $480.00 and it has the normal remote lead and a cordless remote as standard along with a Stainless Roller Fairlead and Bolts etc,
The Brand is Champion / Warrior And It is every bit as good as the warn  SD winch I bought a while back,

Mine is made in China, But the build quality is a High as my Warn Winches and its a 3rd of the price, Like I said they supply them to the British SAS So they have to have something going in their favour, aye

OK, here's what I have been using for years. Purchased at Harbor Freight. Maybe your all familiar this place, Cheap tools but hey, if you only use them once they pay for themselfs. #12000 Mile Marker I'm sure it was made in China or Japan as most of the tools from Harbor Freight are but hey, It works well. Its pulled up many a dead vehicles on my trailer. Matter of fact I used it today to load this machine....Paid I think around 350 for the winch and I'll bet its been on the trailer in the weather for 10 years?? Trust me when I say....it's been used and abused!
