Typical AZ weather here. We only have two seasons here. Warm and hot.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Cold front coming in. Moving out Sunday. Temps a little lower for a couple of days. 25% chance of showers.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Same here. Tomorrow only 80° instead of 90°. I have to get the jacket out again.

Carl I'd love to be  there  for  the  winter  months .  But don't  know  if  I  could  handle  the  summers .

Jere   it seems  my brother  got  cold  feet and  backed the wedding  up to October .
So will have  to  work  it out  for then or another  time .

Bill this  means  the Houseboat  show in Kentucky  is a go . If we can  still  get  a  cabin .

Go Up Go Down

A friend of mine was doing a Care Taker job on a Ranch in Douglas Arizona.  Got there and it was 116F.  I was disabled the whole time. Could NOT take the Heat.  All I could do was sit around and Swelt.  Thought I was going to Die.  He had No AC, or Electric.  Ran a Gen to keep the Ice Box cold for a hour or so and at that time I got under the fan and Melted.  When I was a kid in Tucson, I could go out chasing rabbets in the heat of the day 120F , No Water, No Shade for 4 or 5 hours .  Get home and drink a glass of water and be good.    NOT NO MORE!    Your Blood thins out with the Heat and mine is like Molasses.

The madam opened the brothel door in Milngavie and saw a rather dignified, well-dressed, good-looking man in his late forties or early fifties.

"May I help you sir?" she asked.

The man replied, "I want to see Suzy."

"Sir, Suzy is one of our most expensive ladies. Perhaps you would prefer someone else", said the madam.

He replied, "No, I must see Suzy." Just then, Suzy appeared and announced to the man she charged £5,000 a visit.

Without hesitation, the man pulled out five thousand pounds and gave it to Suzy, and they went upstairs. After an hour, the man calmly left.

The next night, the man appeared again, once more demanding to see Suzy.

Suzy explained that no one had ever come back two nights in a row as she was too expensive.

"There are no discounts. The price is still £5000."

Again, the man pulled out the money, gave it to Suzy, and they went upstairs. After an hour, he left..

The following night the man was there yet again. Everyone was astounded that he had come for a third consecutive night, but he paid Suzy and they went upstairs.

After their session, Suzy said to the man, "No one has ever been with me three nights in a row. Where are you from?"

The man replied, " Edinburgh."

"Really," she said. "I have family in Edinburgh ."

"I know." the man said. "Your sister died and I am her lawyer. She asked me to give you your £15,000 inheritance."

The moral of the story is that three things in life are certain:

1. Death
2. Taxes
3. Being screwed by a lawyer!
