The Desert can be fickled.    It can be 100F in the Day and 35 or 40F at night.  Hell one time I drove my Motor Bike to work in a T shirt.  It was Snowing on the way home.

That can make it tough on A Person have to carry Warm Gear in the Day Only to have to use it at Night,

It's like that here in the High Desert.   4,400Ft.   It can be 90 or 100F and you freeze your butt off at night if not  ready for it.

Yeah, The Temp drops 1 degree for every 1000 foot you go up, It's no wonder people perish out there, aye.

I always try to take all I need for such places, you never can be too careful.

I was 19deg C here today and yet it was Minus 4 last night in Scotland,

So you must of been 3 or 4000 feet higher up then.

Go Up Go Down

Well it seems the Fickle Finger of Fate is still amongst us.    Last night the wife leaving work her car took a crap in front of Wal Mart.  Un able to Push the car off the road she ran back to work to seek help.   She should had stayed with the car and received help to push it off the traffic Lane  but you know how things go.  By the time she got back to the car blocking a lane of night time traffic the police had already got it towed.    Here we are On Friday, and the Tow shop is closed over the week end.  The problem with the car was she pulled out and Head lights, Engine just shut down.  Only thing I can think of is the Neg side of battery has issues.  We had issues with the Connectors before.

   HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

Give that wifey a lot of hugs and be thankful that a towed car was all that happened. Some of us are not so lucky to have someone in their life. Give her a nice Mothers day thanks for the rest of us.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.
