It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Your Wrong Sir.  I'm here from 05:30 to 23:00 EVERY DAY!   I'm thinking the Heat has people shut down.  It's only 101F here every day.  For you all that use the weird stuff that would be 38.3333  C  !!!!

It's been hovering around 110°F here and once up to 114°F. Sun doesn't set until 7:30 or so  so it stays hot till early AM. It's easy to get heat stroke, so most people stay inside unless it's necessary to go out. And only then in air conditioned  cars. I feel sorry for the homeless especially this time of year. The city has set up cooling stations and deliver bottled water to those who can't get out of the heat. 'Scuse me gotta get a cold drink.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Go Up Go Down

Still waiting for some Echent.  Going to make a board for that Pin Pointer.  Thanks to you I have two Programed chips and    Quarts timer , all parts from the junk Drawer.     The Joy of having Puppies.  I've had nothing but Problems with the Internet over the past two weeks.  Ether the Dogs  chewed a wire or Q has issues.  Last week my Modem said I had the DSL and INternet but it would not connect to any one.  Called Q (Quest) and they figured out they had issues in ABQ .  I was talking to them but no one else.  Problem Fixed.  Put the Puppies out side to end the SHit on the floor.  They seem to have a thing about chewing the wire.  Fixed that about five times.  Need to get the Wire off the Ground and away.  Have issues with Pack Rats.  They seem to like wire too.  WTF?

May need GD's Expertise on this one.   I found my wire to the Telcom Box with a Chewed off wire.  One Wire.  One wire still connected.  Inter net was still Green light on DSL and Internet.  Was Still gitting 600 KB .   How to hell was it working?   Paying for 7.4Mb  and never get better then 5.2Mb...That's cool.  How was it working with only One wire?  At first I was thinking it was using the Ground from the Power Supply and Signal Wire.  Wrong.  DC power supply Isolates Ground.  FM Flipping Magic?

Some times the Modem is Happy but nothing is working.
