This will only work on a very short Range or for low-power Electronics.
Using tuned Circuits is not a new Idea. Look at passive RFID Tags for a good Example.
This is very inefficient. Consumers will fear the powerful Transmitter that is needed.
Imagine you have a Notebook PC, consuming 10 Watts, now send Power at 3ft or 1m Distance.
How much Power will be wasted ? Too much. The Magnetic Field will make the Keys in your Pocket vibrate.
A few Applications will be ok, like a Mousepad sending Power to your Wireless Mouse.
