Last week was got lots of smoke from a fire just west of us.

Alamogordo is under evacuation orders now.

And most people think what could burn in a Desert , must not be only cactus and Jericho trees .
In higher elevations of the desert Scotch Pine trees can flourish . So you must have forests around you .

I hope your area is missed , by winds changing directions !!
