I wouldn't mind hittin' the Isles, but not for relics. I'd like ta take my chances on an old coin... ANY old coin. You know... like you guys post a lot.
Personally, I would LOVE to hit Scotland for a real (any) Scottish coin (My Dad was a Scot... and a great piper.) I can get them English reales over here... well, not the old ones, but, I have found 3... 2 halfs and an 8.
I landed in Dundee on the way to Germany back in '70, but it was in the twilight time, and I didn't get to see the splendor of the countryside like I wished... (and probably never will)... but what I did get to see, is etched in my mind forever.
I was equally impressed with Germany and it's people. I also managed to do a lot of biking the countryside in the tiny year that I was over there. Sure wish I was rich. I'd go back in a minute!
