Howdy All,

      I was floating around on the 'net earlier today looking for video of how to "clean tarnished silver with aluminum foil and salt water", when I tumbled onto a set of videos on videojug.    In the videos, a goldsmith from Cool Diamonds in London, shows how to clean and care for fine jewelry.   Some of the videos include:

I tried it recently, but forgot to heat the water.   It will work with lukewarm water but not nearly as well and takes forever.   So make the water REALLY hot.   

I'm going to sticky this topic just because there are so many useful videos at the site.

Been using the Foil thing for quite some time.  It also works on things other then Silver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Grin

Try using Other things to clean junk coins.  Make sure you really don't want them.  Ha.
