Interesting read GD. Might be fun to have a go at Fort Trumbull ..... nah... jail.   I've seen no pirates in New London but have seen a few winos.
When i worked at Amtrak the old guys used to tell of the track workers being to lazy to bring in their lanterns and just tossed them in the river there at Shaw's Cove and over at the Thames river RR bridge!!!
