I have recently aquired a FISHER M-SCOPE with bakelite headphones minus the battery supply. I did a little research and discovered that it appears to be the same unit that Gerhard Fisher is holding in the picture on the FISHER-LAB Website, in ithe History section. It states that he started to make these units in his garage in 1931 calling them a Metalliscope. In 1936 the name was shortened to the M-SCOPE. I was just wondering what a historical unit like this would be worth and if anyone was interested in purchasing it? You can refer to the FISHER-LAB website to see the pic of the detector that I have. Keep in mind that the battery supply pack is missing. thanks, G7
