is true that youc can find meteorites with a magnetometer?

what is the minimum size for the object to can be detecting with a magnetometer?

If the meteorite contains iron it can be found using a magnetomter. Many meteorites are hunter for in the dessert. A magnetometer will wok fine there as there are not any trash items conating iron.
