Not sure if this post would belong here or collectibles. Anyway heres a couple modern made Indian style points.
Top one is made from a Crystal Quartz Crystal I found and sent to a Flint Knapper for a Clovis "carving", its my favorite of fakes. Wink
Next is made from some Texas material made in the style of a Mississippian style Arrowhead (like Cahokia) and Maker asked if I would like for him to sign it so I accepted his offer.

Well Vision,
There are a lot of very talented knappers out there and most are very honest people.
Looks like you know one of the honest ones.
I have seen some of them who try to pass their wares off as authentic. Those kind of people don't get along well with genuine collectors.
Your replicas look pretty good, your connection is talented to say the least.
I really like that crysal clovis.
Hey, that is sorta harmonious "Crystal Clovis"....I like saying that.

Thanks for posting them and they are welcome here, at least I think so, as long as you admit they are replicas.

BTW: They are replicas not fakes.
If they were an attempt at deception then most collectors would tag them as "Fake".
Keep your posts comming.

That's because that is the first pic uploaded.
Besides, you did have it made from an specimen of crystal
you found as a legitimate "find" did you not?

Leave it. The picture attracts the eye. It's a lovely point. When I saw it, I wanted one.

Lots of collectors I know have replicas in their collections as long as their labeled replica I don't see a problem. In my opinion they become fakes when a seller tries to pass them off as real.

I agree with Out4Gold "Crystal Clovis" sounds so cool That is one point I would like to own.
