Hi goldnboy,

Thanks for your comments. There are a lot of silver and gold coins buried in France due at the differents wars and invasions. It only remains to discover landfills .............

 Great Luc

  Hi Luc

With a history of invasions and wars, It can present a happy hunting ground for treasure hunters.
Im a bit  envoius of that, here in New Zealand we dont have a History with gold coins going back much more than 150 years"
I also came across another posting you had made of the Desert Fox, it was very interesting but i can remember under what topic it was posted? Its easy to imagine large amounts of plunder from his conquest. So there is some more treasure for us to dream of   Cool

Hi goldnboy

Indeed we are lucky in France, because France has always been a historical crossroads, which inevitably leaves traces in both buildings (castles, fortresses, places of worship ..) but written records (books, scrolls .. ) and archaeological evidence that lead to discoveries cash.

Good reading
