I went to the beach which there should be a thread on here somewhere.
I have to say one thing it is a learning curve but then i am used to the E.Trac Smiley
When you hear a bell tone if its all bell tone and the numbers are over 45 then dig all till you know the numbers .
If you hear a bell tone one way then a low tone the other way it could be flat rubbish or a coin depending on coins metal.
Its the same with a bell tone and a iron buzz but some coins do that too ,if a buzz both ways then leave alone.
This is when i used the Custom Std programme , set the discrim to 40 with sens as high as possible.

The Custom Pro mode is a bit quiet for tones and i did not use it much on that occasion ,will try again in the future.
On the 18th dec i will go back to the beach with the E.Trac but not expecting a lot, the shingle is too high.
Watch out for using it on shingle and stones, without a coil cover it will eventually wear the coil down.

The first deliveries of this device to Russia we are waiting only in January.
Therefore the real field tests from owners very interest.
And still, can somebody tell, this device is simply water-proof or supposes immersing on 5-10 foots?
Thanks Smiley

The place where I live has been occupied enough recently, approximately 200-250 years ago. Therefore we find coins of that time.
Besides, we search for relics of the Caucasian war of 19 century. There are a lot of alan villages, 7-8 century B.C. Somebody is looking for ancient bronze, but it is prohibited .
A little to the north they find coins up to 14 centuries, rapped out of a silver or gold wire, so-called "scales", russian or tatar-mongol.
