Every time gold goes up a bunch of old claims and ghost towns trade hands and then a year or two later return to silence
Sad to see old ghost towns torn down in the name of progress.
I am torn, since preservation usually requires the fed to get involved and muck things up and private ownership usually is followed by keep out no tresspass signs.
