Been awhile since  i last posted , Covid and all that ...!!!!   Firstly the Apex  not good , to slow, now resides in the cupboard with my other refugees and back to the Tesoro.

The assoc i belonged to ceased last year as no one wanted to take on the admin etc and a lot of Brits have gone back to the UK due to residentia problems now the the UK has left the EU and people are restricted to only allowed to be in Europe for 90days per year , so lots sold up and went home ..!!

But just this week the remnants of the am/dram theatre group and the Metal detecting group have reformed and have managed to keep our CIF certificate and our old insurance reinstated and formalised [ which gives members 1million Euro  ins cover and public liability ] so we are still up and running .

Also we have lost around 7miles of beach in the Guadarmar  area as the local mayor decided no more metal detecting on the beaches which is a pain as these were my stamping grounds ...!!

The authorities have given up on the idea of detecting  permits [ probably not enough cash in it for them ] and its now back to the local mayors/ police  to call the shots so we shall have to see how it pans out , finds on the beaches and in the water are very poor at the moment without the tourists , and i do not think in the financial climate at the moment things are going to improve much , with the Spanish side of Ryanair going on strike next week for 6 days and now the baggage handlers and the French airtraffic controllers talking about striking [ AGAIN ], things are not looking that good .

Enough of the moaning ...its a sunny 34 c outside and i have a barbie to go to with some Ukrainian and german friends ..could get lively ...!!
