Texas Jay:
Hi salvor6.  I thought it was too.  It sure made an impression on me when my trusted friend Bud Hardcastle sent me a copy of it.

Hi Texas Jay...I read on another internet message that the letter is actually a generic form reply sent out by the FBI. Evidently, there were numerous requests sent to the FBI in regards to Jesse James...the FBI had to create these form letters. Some of the form letters actually quoted the Encyclopedia Britannica, and stated Jesse James died in 1882.

It seems you have a passion for spamming/trolling internet message boards posting conspiracy theories, including this form letter that has been altered by adding text to the bottom of it.

Have a nice day! ::)

raterry:
Isn't that the purpose? The jury is still out whether or not Jesse James was actually killed in the way that was accounted. Either way, it does make for some good speculation.

From: "The Truth About Jesse James" by Rudy Turilli, 1967.

***

ROBERT FORD AND JESSE JAMES WERE FIRST COUSINS

"One of the persons sincerely interested in the welfard of Jesse James, who
assumed the name J. Frank Dalton in his later years, was Mrs. Ola M. Everhard of
Austin, Texas. Mrs. Everhard's great-grandmother was Sarah (Sallie) Dalton
before her marriage to Henry Underwood.

One of the sisters of Sarah Dalton was Zerelda Dalton, who married Robert James
and was the mother of Frank and Jesse W. James, according to the family Bible.

Another of the sisters, the third in line, but whose first name Mrs. Everhard
does not recall now in 1965, married a man named Ford. She was the mother of
Charlie and Robert (Bob) Ford.

Thus, Bob Ford, written for a century as the man who shot Jesse James, was
James' first cousin, as their mother's were sisters.

Jesse and Frank James also were first cousins to 'the Dalton boys' who were
known as Southern sympathizers and desperadoes during the Civil War and until
the James and Dalton gangs broke up.

Zerelda, mother of Frank and Jesse James, is referred to in most annals as
Zerelda E. Cole prior to her marriage to Robert James. The question arises as
to why she was named Cole, when she was born Zerelda E. Dalton -- and Mrs.
Everhard has the answer, from information handed down in the family. The father
of the Dalton girls died when they were very young. They were Roman Catholics
and Mrs. Dalton placed them in a convent. After she married a man named Cole,
the girls returned home and it meant not only a new life for them but a new name
as well. They took the name of their stepfather Cole.

(Mrs. Ola M. Everhard's mother was Bertha Underwood Maddox, daughter of Savannah
and James Underwood, son of Henry and Sarah (Sallie) Dalton Underwood. Mrs.
Henry Underwood -- Sarah, or Sallie Dalton before her marriage, was sister to
Zerelda E. Dalton James who was the mother of Frank and Jesse James; also sister
to the mother of Charlie and Robert Ford.)"

Hey Texas Jay...I've seen you spam this theory before. Turilli's $10.000 challenge to prove him wrong was taken....and he was proved wrong.

Why do you keep spamming internet message boards with conspiracy theories and publications that are known frauds?

Um...what jury are you referring to? There are conspiracy theories around, saying several people didn't really die when history says they did. Jesse James is but one of those who conspiracy theorists champion. To stay on topic...the FBI quotes the Encyclopedia Britannica in some of their form letters...stating Jesse James died in 1882. Other form letters from the FBI simply states he died in 1882

GoldDigger1950:
Jay, you still have no proof. Now it's official from the FBI. You're the only one who cares about a dead guy who you believe died later than history reports his death. As if that matters. Dead is dead.

Quoting other forums and their text is worse than having no proof. It's republishing nonsense.

Texas Jay:
GD, the fact remains that I was only copying my OWN transcriptions of a book that I have completely read that were posted on my own group for our members' benefit.  By the way, we have 170 members at our group who are deeply interested and highly informed about Jesse Woodson James, Bloody Bill Anderson, Quantrill's Guerrillas and the KGC.  Bud Hardcastle gave me permission to publish the letter to Morry Davidson from J. Edgar Hoover online for the first time - a fact that seems to escape you and your constant criticism.  I bet you wish you could perform magic as well as Criss Angel and make this historic letter, which documents a personal phone call to Hoover, disappear.  Face it, you are in the business of deceiving people but there are many on this and other forums who are not deceived.  [funny]

I think the only fact we have here, Jay...is you running around to various treasure hunting websites soliciting your Yahoo  group (snickers) of conspiracy theorists.  ::)
