Oh, RO, that is not the only fact.  One other fact is that I also promote this website to our Yahoo group members.  Most of our members refuse to participate here, however, because they don't like to be badgered by naysayers like you and GoldDigger1950 who never offer any documentation for your allegations or historical myths.

Balto Bob:
personally I don't care how Jesse James died - or when!  All I would love to find is one of his buried mason jars!!!!!!!!!!  But the banter on this site does help pass these cold wintry days.  keep it up folks - I enjoy reading.

Texas Jay:
Welcome, Balto Bob, to this subforum. The mason jar of coins that Pastore found in the History Channel program were dated into the 1890s so, if they were buried by Jesse Woodson James, that would disprove the myth that he was killed in 1882, wouldn't it?

Balto Bob:
Texas Jay,

I did not have the pleasure of watching the show.  I was told that the coins were morgan dollars from the 1878 - 1879 years.  Eev if that were true - he would have had to bury them a minimum of 2 years before he died.

Jesse James buried mason jars? Why would he do that?

Texas Jay:
Hi Balto Bob.  I hope you get the opportunity to watch the whole program when History Channel re-broadcasts it.  I recorded it so I can watch it and look at details whenever I want.  At least one of the coins found in the jar was dated 1892, I'm almost certain, as the finders took time to state the date's historical implications regarding Jesse James' alleged date of death - 1882 in St. Joseph.

Quote:Posted by Texas JayGD, the fact remains that I was only copying my OWN transcriptions of a book that I have completely read that were posted on my own group for our members' benefit.  By the way, we have 170 members at our group who are deeply interested and highly informed about Jesse Woodson James, Bloody Bill Anderson, Quantrill's Guerrillas and the KGC.  Bud Hardcastle gave me permission to publish the letter to Morry Davidson from J. Edgar Hoover online for the first time - a fact that seems to escape you and your constant criticism.  I bet you wish you could perform magic as well as Criss Angel and make this historic letter, which documents a personal phone call to Hoover, disappear.  Face it, you are in the business of deceiving people but there are many on this and other forums who are not deceived.  [funny]

Read the letter again. It denies everything you proclaim as fact. Just get over it.

I have no idea about your references to Blaine. More of your faulty research? Probably.

Texas Jay:
Clearly, it is you GD who needs to read the Hoover/Davidson letter again.  It proves that J. Edgar Hoover knew that the man called "J. Frank Dalton" was Jesse Woodson James.
I don't know what you are talking about when you mention Blaine.  I was referring to YOUR occupation as a magician.  If you continue to deny the truth, I will gladly post your youtube exhibition of your lack of skills, in that department, for members here to see.  Then all will see whose research is "faulty".
