    The basic water jar the Southwest Indians used was round with a shaft going straight up. No frills or wide mouths, this was easier for them to cap and keep the water from evaporating. The fancy ones were for ceremonial purposes, not basic needs. No need to be sorry Mate, You can't disappoint me, I have been Tracking for too long, for that!!   td

I guess it would be foolish for me to say the spanish didn't incorperate the sign into thier trail they do it with rocks and plants
