The dashes around the cross mean 5 varas which would be 15 ft or 180 inches away from that symbol 90 degrees you should find you mark probably a rock

GD no I didnt make them and since the symbols seem to have spanish meanings you can see that the spanish did. Theres some new stuff to the right of the cross for comparison

I see nothing of the sort. What I see is scratches on a rock that look like they were made a few months ago, not decades ago. Somebody is playing a joke on you, mate. Have a good laugh and move on.

GD new scratches on this rock wall are sharp light and white. What you see in the cross is that its dull and weathered, a few months is ridiculous as is a few decades. The white takes a long long long time to fade away, a few centuries is more like it.
