The words which can be safely and accurately translated are in white text on the attached map.

As for the rest of the text on the left of the photo, these are the translator's thoughts:

It is a mixture of kanji and hiragana. This seems to be some kind of "slang" only known to a body of people, much like how gang-members have their own code words, to which only they will know the meaning and significance. "3 dogs" is mentioned, and I can make no sense of it. Maybe there is a certain sequence in which the words have to be read, in order to construct a meaningful sentence.

My own thoughts:
1) Whoever drew the map was not a cartographer, as evidenced by the placement of the compass points in relation to the drawings.
2) The encircled "X" marks the gold, so those spots should be scanned, making allowances for any shifts in earth.

you are very correct on that bro, most of the treasure engineers were member of the yakuza gang and thats is why its very hard to decipher..........the codes.

Yakuza? Well that is news to me, Joe. I never knew that. Would you care to tell us more on the Yakuza's involvement? I won't go into the background of my translator, but the person is rather familiar with them, and yet it could not be translated properly. Maybe it was a code only known to an "inner circle". Nonetheless, I find this interesting.

like this common words they use the "mountain". " water" & "GOLD" as you can see the volcano .they use the "FIRE" wit the word "MOUNTAIN" and the meaning would be "VOLCANO"
On the sideing of the kanji there were hebrew.greek and others secret codeing on what would be the trap and the layer would be encounter before you could see the "treasure".all would be in details on the marker you would encounter below.every figuring of animals"bird, turtle, dragon or snake represent position of the tunnel or direction of tunneling.....
