Go Up Go Down

I found this "symbol" looking through my photos I recently took at a site in Utah. It's not a great photo, it appeared off to the side in a couple photos so I don't think it's a digital error (I didn't see it when I was there).  It resembles a water glyph, but appears diiferent in length, width of line and no "dot". Also it's in the mountains, 25 feet from a creek. There's several other oddities around it, which I can get into  later when I have more time. Everything is pretty old and weathered around it. Any opinions are welcome. First off I guess would be, is it man-made or natural?

I don't see any cracks or fissures where the arrows are pointing, but I'll take that as 2 "naturally occuring". I have one person seeing water glyph, and another seeing tomahawk/hand axe from another site. I'm actually surprised Seldom doesn't see anything unusual with a geology /arch background. Maybe I'm seeing things!

I see the tomahawk (Not sure if it is one though), but with out better pictures can't tell if natural or man made. If you get back take a couple pictures closer up and maybe at a couple angles. Also look for tool marks. You may try bringing some paper and crayon to do a imprint of it. It may show better or show tool striations on it. If man made you probably should be able to make some out on the in side edges.
