How often does the umi site change user names and passwords?  I have a decent batch of Mississippi Sanborns but am missing several cities/towns that we are looking to go metal detecting and privy digging in.  Does anyone have any earlier Sanborn maps available?

Please don't take this as absolute fact as I could be wrong and if I am I hope someone will correct me.  I'm not sure if this is still the way they do things at Sanborn but I seem to recall reading or hearing somewhere that they would go through and change either the username or password or sometimes both about every 90 days or so.  I however have not seen or heard of what a current one may be for some time now.  I have however heard of a number of people being able to access maps through the local library site in the areas that they are interested in as long as they had a current library card.

Either way maybe someone will confirm this or who knows...sooner or late a current username and password may turn up.

We used to be able to do that in Phoenix, but the library's subscription to Sanborn was one of the first things to go during the budget cut.   Still it is worth checking your local library website (usually under research tools).

I have about 1/2 of the Phoenix maps.

Southern New Mexico maps if anyone wants them.
