Go Up Go Down

Over the last several years I have only found a couple rings.
Wondering is their anybody living in the mid west that has found the big secret to finding
rings around here.
If you have had luck finding them would you be kind enough to share with the rest of us
what types of areas you hunt.
Thought hunting ball fields would be good[players taking ball gloves on and off] but have yet
to ever find a ring on the ball field.
Pretty much the only swimming around here is at the city pools and theirs no  [detecting]allowed.

Just wondering if it was me or does everybody else seem to have the same problem here in the
mid west....

Well, ball fields are a great place to find rings. I concentrate on the outfield areas, thinking that a player making a hard throw might sling off a ring and lose it in the grass. Also, a grass parking lot, old carnival sight, the grass strip between a road and sidewalk - any place where people are reaching into their pockets to pull out car keys or change. Swimming holes are another good spot. The water causes fingers to shrink, and rings get lost.

A lot of times finding rings is just pure luck though.
