Maybe the moderator can move this to the appropriate board. I can't seem to find the right one for this post.

I see Arado is back in the metal detector business. They quit the detector line some time ago.

I used to have a model 120B that was super on deep silver. Actually was better than my Whites 5DB at the time! The new Arado 320 looks extremely interesting.. Anyone have any updated info?

Whoa! That's a bit pricey for me. I almost never balk at the cost of good equipment but the specifications simply do not justify the cost of this machine to me.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Have to agree.....
Very expensive!
I'm sure there are comparable machines for half that amount.
Small company too, based over here in the U.K. - I would think getting repairs/parts/support would be a nightmare if you don't live here.
I don't think they have ever been out of business as such, I think they concentrated for a long while on supplying Military and Industry.

In the 70s they had one of the best machines around and were very expensive then.
1913.10 US$ is higher than the V3 but no by much. Just wonder how the model 320 performs??
