My machine uses 9v batteries the manufacturer recommends Alkalines. Alkalines copper tops are around 520 MAH. You can now get lithium 600 mah rechargeables for not much dearer and can be recharged up to 500 times. Whilst they are called 9volt they are actually 8.4 volts. I contacted my machines manufacturer and they said they will run okay and will not affect the performance of the machine until the power drops down to 6.9volts. To me this is a better cheaper way to go. Chargers are cheap as well. Neilo Great
