Well after a short but wet winter i am starting to look for a new detector .....Yes i sold my ace 250 , i found the target ID  to be really annoying as it is set up for US  coins.. I am looking for a numeric id   so i can get more info as to what i am scanning . any suggestions?

I would not worry too much about the display ids, numbers, words, or icons. Suggest you might want to try a machine with no display and learn the sounds. After a while you can get really good.

most of our coins are like washers !  i don't need an exact id  , surely  1-99 display has to be better?   at least to see a slight difference readings between washers  and quarters. and yes the more tones  the better
