Sorry Goldn still see no use for them. If your target is narrowed down to 3 sq feet then you don't need a probe you need a shovel. Plus you have to get the probe in the ground that could turn into a big job.

please refer to the top of the post for the gold snoop, looking MD.  I think they are maid close to where Mddetector is from. They have some positive and not so positive reviews

Hi Seldom, I think id rather probe down 1 meter and hear a bep bep and feel the vibrate , before digging.   I was also thinking for the use as a gold spear if the claims are true could work.

Anyways too much excitement for 1 night and its way past my bed time now so im signing off

Grin Grin Grin This thread is fun. It could be useful if you want to know if there is something in between two rocks or possibly under a boulder (Assuming that there is a space)

Stubborn old guy

Are you? I hadn't noticed. All I know is nobody is going to want to walk a foot, drop down 5 probes, do a reading, get nothing and move another foot just to repeat that nonsense. I don't care if it CAN find a grain of rice sized nugget. If you know which spot it's in, you don't need a probe. You need a shovel and a strong back.

Your machine is a waste of our time. Plumbers might benefit because they know about where a pipe should be. This could help pinpoint it. Or, electricians trying to fund underground conduit. Make it a snap. But treasure hunters? Not a chance. Peddle this nonsense elsewhere.

Ok, all the other voiced concerns apart, it isn't going to work in most of the desert southwest of the United States (a large part of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, the desert areas of Nevada, Utah, and Colorado).   Most of the time the ground is way too hard to stick a probe of any type into--it's often closer to concrete than to "soil", especially the first couple of inches.   And I'm sure we're not the only areas in the world with that particular problem.

I can think of a couple of scenarios where it could be of use. Such as a confined space, in between boulders where you cant get your md.

Also for ninja miners, it would be a valuable tool   Cool
