Just wanted to show everyone a few places to swing your wand if need an idea or two. The first one is one of my spots along a bike path, by a canal. It's about 3 or 4 miles long, so I've got a lot of ground to cover and I've only done two or three hundred yards, in about a six foot swath so far. :
This canal is the one that's billed as "the longest skating rink in the world". Lots of people spend time in this area, during all four seasons, so there are lots of lost goodies here.
Anyone have an area kind of like this near where you hunt?
Second shot is from the shore of a little lake that hooks-up to this canal. Needless to say, you can imagine the potential this area holds. What about you? Any spots close to your place that remind you of this one?
This last pic, was taken in a park in downtown Kingston Ontario, where I was visiting with my friends over this past Christmas. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to detect there. They don't TH and I didn't have my machine with me but I wanted to get your minds going with the picture, in case there is any kind of situation like this near to you. I could almost smell the coins and rings in there. :
I know I will be going down to visit my good buddy in the spring again and I WILL be bringing my silver sniffer down for sure then!
So, do these shots get the old wheels turnin'? There are SO many places to hunt, if we only do a little lookin'...
