Go Up Go Down

I Every few years the urge to get a bigger, brighter and better detector comes over me.  The brighter and bigger ( so to speak) is easy but better causes problems.  Indecision!     The new Whites V3 sounds impressive and I like discrimination possibilities but there could be a depth issue.  The Fisher F75 LTD seems to have a lot of good things being said about it but does limited edition mean that they are going to come out with something better in near future?  Is there any rumors going around about what's coming out next year? Indecision, indecision.  I think I'll go hunt a trashy park and get it off of my mind.

Hello,

from what I know Fisher is not going to publish a new model soon. However Teknetics (which is basically Fisher) has published one and I've heared it is a good machine.

Best wishes,

Christian

I'd say the E-Trac is a definite possibility for good depth and all sorts of capabilities-the explorer type machines from Minelab are some really good machines- but I've heard the Technetics T2 has real good ability to find the good stuff also-----I saw a youtube video that showed that a T2 found way more good finds on a hunt than a MXT---but the MXT I had done quite well also--it's just a matter of opinion I guess. I recommend anything Garrett, Minelab or Whites - in that order.

Read the specs on the web sites and look for the features you want. If there is a feature you do not understand, read the on line manuals or come back here with specific questions. Deciding can be half the fun.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

I am an old Minelab dealer and I got to put my vote in on the E-Trac. I sell detectors and I use a lot of machines, but I allways go back to my E-Trac. I havent run anything that will go as deep and still stay accurate. The F75 is good in iron and relics, but i still like the Trac best. Great

Before we could even think about giving you an answer on that, we?d need to know what sort of budget you?re thinking of, what sort of hunting you?re thinking of doing, and your degree of fitness in relationship to the weight of the detector.  Cool
