I just made December reservations for San Jose del Cabo, Baja California. I'll bring two of my MDs. Any comments, recommendations, hints,  legality of MD in Mexico, etc. would be really appreciated. I'm planning to do beaches, not dry land.

Thanks, GD. I love Mexico and its history. I wish I could hunt there more often. Four more years for early retirement and I will be able to hunt more often around the globe.

I read that MD is legal in Mexico as long as you don't take gold coins or antique artifacts with you. Those are property of Mexico. However, the same is true for many countries with a rich past history. For example, in Puerto Rico, my Island, the government may ask to keep up to 70% of any treasure found on its coasts. See:
