First a Navy cap..A guy at a local gun show offered me $25 for it. Its original and has a very, very small amount of moth damage and the name of the soldier stenciled on the inside. I think its made from wool because it feels like the material the old wool Army blankets where made from

Iron cross. There where millions of these made as reproduction. IDK if this is a authentic one but I have seen some real ones and it appears to have ans old look and patina on it. It says "1939 on one side and I think "1918" on the other side..I found it in a creek that runs through a small town i live near in Illinois.
