does anybody know if metal detecting is possible on Seychelles Islands?
Can I bring my MD on the plane?
does anybody know where I can find info about MD usage worldwide?

Hello Andyfish72. Welcome to THunting.com.   

I have not had any trouble traveling on airplanes with my metal detector, but then I haven't tried to go to the Seychelles Islands.    If you can't find the information using google or a similar search engine, I'd suggest contacting their consulate before you pack.

Welcome from Australia where you can use your metal detector any time you wish.

You are asking too broad a question since there are so many laws in so many countries. You did ask wisely about your current destination and hopefully someone can answer you. Bear in mind that the laws in recent years have changed a lot and many localities have different laws and rules from park to park or area to area.

And most (though not all) of us would prefer for each country to continue to set its own laws rather than having a world-wide law imposed upon all countries and all metal detectorists and hunters (especially since the average hunter would probably wind up on the short end of the stick).
