Thanks again for the greeting from you all.  What a great group.  I'm probably one of the lowest tech people on board with you.  I'm just using my pan.  After watching the Gold minning show in Alaska, it gets one excited to go out and begin the hunt.  Heck, with the current price of Gold, wouldn't a glory-hole.  Too funny.  Anyway going to take my un-educated self to BLM and see if I can't figure
out where to start, while I'm here in NM.  Want to end-up in N. Ca or S. Or. Gold there for sure.

If you haven't already done so, you might seriously consider joining GPAA.  That would give you access to all their claims, including the ones they have in New Mexico.   They don't appear to have an active chapter that meets regularly there in New Mexico (or at least it isn't listed on the GPAA website

, but they do have a couple of state directors listed.  If you decide to join GPAA, contact one of the New Mexico directors after you have joined to see if they've got any site maintenance or other functions scheduled.   That will give you an opportunity for some hands on work with some more experienced people.).
