First time on this forum. Been detecting for many yrs. Trying to locate some late 1700 to early 1800 hotel sites here in west Ky. If anyone else is in west Ky. and would like to hunt, give me a shout.

By the way I use a Teknetics Omega 8000, SunRay headphones, Garrett Pro pinpointer and SunRay leather finds pouch. Just got a Jackson Versaplanter digging tool. This thing is tough.

aboard Mike! Greetings from Utah.
Hunting down old demolished hotels/ghost towns are a great idea. I think that out here a lot of them have been picked through. Have you thought about researching the library, or the KY historical Society? They have a Utah one, so I just figured that they'd have one for every state.

I've got customers as far up as Vincennes but thats as far north as I travel. However I do travel all the way to Kansas City out I70.
