Sure we have lot of history, but we have lately also lot of officials fighting against detecting! Actually it is mostly because of people who are digging in areas under protection. There have been some discussions about it in TV and other media. Also lot of fighting in internet military forum and detecting forum. One option the officials thinking is to have license for detector - without license detector would be forbidden.
But there are still lot of places where You can detect
And maybe we unite and detect together next summer!?
