This post is a little late, nor east-er two weeks moved lot of sand off the beach. It was good to get out and get some exercise durning the winter months. two hours on the beach and found 22 coins nothing to brag about but still great to find coins on the beach.Still to much sand on the beach. Not much going on and its been awhile since I have posted any thing.So HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERY ONE....WHITE WATER.

we have a ocean and north ocean beach....all beaches on long beach NJ have three feet of new sand on them done by the corp of army engineers after super storm hit two years ago. It's slow picking with all that new sand .only finding coins after a nor easter come through. still out there good exercise.

    They were finding Pillar Dollars on Ocean Beach a year or so ago.     A Pile of them   Source  is unknown.
