     I have many hobbys,bottle digging and others.I am looking at a fisher m.scope mod 1265x.Can anyone give some me some info?Never been hunting with a detector.   THX    Detecting

I have a 1265x its a very good detector but if you are new to the sport i would recommend an Ace 250 from garrett. They are easy to learn and love coins. Best price is at detection.net

I took your advise and my new 250 is on it's way to me.My uncle loves to fish,he wants me to go,I have lost interest in fishing,after telling him about my purchase he told me he has an old relic machine and he would blow the dust off and go.This worked out very well as I get to spend time with my adopted dad.I was avoiding him because all he talked was fishing,now we have something in common. THX VERY MUCH!    I'll report back when I receive my unit    thx again    tntroll       Waveing

Two thing i have found on setting up the Ace 250 run the coil wire straight up the shaft until you hit the first extension tube then coil it around until you plug it in to the control box, second by holding down the start button until it beeps twice resets the detector to factory specs. I sometimes do this during a hunt if i think it is not performing correctly, this is a great unit just practice a lot and you will love it.
