Greetings & welcome aboard Tolec!

I'm from upstate NY in the Mohawk Valley near Johnstown, NY.

The snow does pile up deep here as you know & it's on its way very soon. I'm starting to hate the cold & snow after living here for 50 years, and I need the sunshine of Florida & the Gold on it beaches and in its surf!  LOL

Cheers,  Great
Jim

Michigan hasnt seen that kind of snow fall in years, you have to be in the snow belt or up in the Kewenaw to get anything decent for snowfall, years ago in Houghton Hancock I saw record snowfalls but that was back in the early 90's, shoot now a days we are lucky to get a few inches that dont melt the next day. Maybe here in the U.P. we get snow for opening rifle season this year, has some already but it didnt stick over night.

We got about the same here, mate. Times are tough right now but it looks like much warmer weather coming in by tomorrow or Saturday at the latest.

For the newbies here, people do drop things in the snow and have no hope of finding them. When it melts, some of it is actually on the surface.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
