I'm a new detectorist in Belfast Northern Ireland, got my first detector, a Garrett Ace 250 back in July and have been out every Saturday morning since!

Guinness is the Best.

Don't do like I did and fall off the bridge in the Shannon.

Caught my first Big Fresh water fish there off that bridge.

12lb Pike. Sold it to Ann for a Weeks worth of Guinness I did.

She sold it as Steaks with Chips and Coleslaw, Chips for 7Punt a Plate.

I never did get a taste.

The German Tourist had it gone in Two days.

Hello Sue, I haven't found much yet but am quite fond of a few of my items. So far I've got 3 old pennies, 1905, 1915, and 1944. I've also got 2 halfpennies, 1941 and 1944, and a quarter rupee of all things from 1946. I'm in it for the long game of course, it's all about perserverance. How about you?

Of all the places I looked, hoping to find gold, I found the ring along a sidewalk just a block from my home.
