Hi everyone new to this treasure hunting thing was given a long time waiting metal detector for a gift....and I love it!! but need to find some cool spots to hunt for relics and treasure in southern Ontario. So if anybody has any tips or ideas i'm all ears.

Welcome from the Blue Mountains for northeastern Oregon.  I've read a lot of stories of coinshooters making great finds in Ontario in the treasure magazines, but it is a big province.  Also have seen many stories about lost and cached loot in Ontario.  Go to a local bookstore or library and see if they have area histories or lost treasure books on your area.  Good luck
