Any good THunting locations in St. George, Utah or THunting techniques would be greatly appreciated. This is going to be an exciting THunting  [detecting]summer!

FirstBeFit, welcome from Arizona.

Since this is your first post and since it is fairly general in nature, I'm going to move it to the New Users Introduction.   That will give all our members a chance to say hello to you.
One tip for you, especially if you plan on spending a lot of time in ghost towns is either attach a good strong magnet to your digger or buy one of those extendable magnets (not very expensive).....it will sure help with the iron junk you'll come across (like roofing/siding and nails).  Some people will tell you to set the discrimination real high, but if you do that you'll miss out on a lot of neat iron relics.
Another tip....if your detector has a very small coil (like a 4" "sniper" coil) you'll find that really handy--especially in the trashier areas.

Hi and welcome. Detecting is a fun activity that the entire family can share so it's neat that your daughter & son are partnering up with you  Smiley Good luck to all of you. Research the area online or at your local library for ideas of old places to hunt. Sue in Kansas
