Hi Spainard and welcome to Thunting from London via Australia

when you try to use your Avitar it will ask you about do you want to use your own picture and then go and highlight the
picture and the it will import it

      We have a very useful search function at the top right of the page.   Entering "Avatar" and seaching the entire forum resulted in the following previous post which should explain exactly how to load your own image as your avatar.
