My son lived in a house in Ohio between Hamilton and Oxford .I tried to get the owners to let me detect there but they wouldnt let me. The hose has beentorn down now,but I sure would have loved to have inspected that property.Good luck. Quizpro

Hi Sammy G. Yea, I'm new too this forum. Hey we have the same detector as well as the same name... Great.. I hunt and live in Guernsey County. I have been checking out an area where Morgan's Raider's came through (private property). People here don't seem to mind tecting as long as you ask perm.....Alot of history in this neck of the woods...Good Luck
Oh, by the way did you get your detector from Dov??

I actually bought my detector off of EBay, I did purchase some head phones there in Dover, at TV Specialties. I would love to detect areas of Morgans Raid, specifically Lisbon. I took a couple trips there, but for some reason it's kinda difficult for me at times to knock and ask people!

There is a story my Dad told me about Morgans raiders.Somewhere in Ohio Morgans raiders came to my grandfathers farm .He was about 7 and the rebs came by with a stollen horse and made a presant of it to my grandad.A little while later the yanks came by and took it away. He ran down the road throwing roks at the yanks.I dont know if its true .What area where the Morgans raiders? I think they lived around Belpre and Gallopolis. Thanks for any info. Quizpro
